GLOBAL AND REGIONAL SECURITY ENVIRONMENT AND ITS INFLUENCE ON SECURITY MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Nowadays we often witness that the last decade is characterised by significant changes
in political, economic and social aspects within both global as well as regional environment.
The environment represents not only inherent conditions of human existence but it is also
a source of potential risks and crises. The author seeks to characterize current changes within
the environment in terms of management and their possible impact on security situation, threat
to the health and life of people, environment, material, spiritual and other values. It is crisis
management, its theory and practice, as a part of general management which responds
promptly to the security issues, living conditions of people and the functioning of social systems.
