Cases of serious chemical accidents demonstrate the long-term serious negative impacts of these extraordinary events on the health and lives of the population, property and the environment at the accident site and in its surroundings. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure a rapid, effective and efficient response from the rescue system, relevant public administration bodies and other interested parties in the event of chemical accidents. Ensuring an effective response of the IRS in the event of an incident with a release of a hazardous chemical substance is crucial for minimizing the consequences for the population, property and the environment.
