Abstract

The article deals with the issue of shipments, that are sent by the network of the Czech Post, s.i. (hereinafter "CP"). Some of these consignments have been identified as suspicious consignments, thus consignments that may contain substances, that endanger the health or life the persons, who are handling them. We were doing a seven-year research, focusing on consignments with dangerous or potentially dangerous content, which ČP employees handed over to fire brigade personnel (hereinafter "HZS") and after their identification and subsequently on substances contained in secured consignments and identified in laboratories as dangerous, that means on substances endangering the health or life of persons and in connection with the identified consignments, we evaluated the possible impacts on the economy of the state enterprise.
